How do I find information about an unpaid credit card debt that I am not aware of?
I recently received a notification to appear in court from the sheriff’s office. I am looking for a lawyer to represent me in court or maybe arbitration? I am not sure if I even owe anything. Supposedly, it is a credit card from a long time ago. I don't remember the card issuer name or any other info. When I called to get information from the law firm they were extremely rude and just hung up the phone. Is there any advice you can provide me with?

A credit report is a document of the history and current status of a borrower's credit standing, and may include identifying information, credit information, public-records information, recent inquiries and credit score. This may be a good place to start your search in locating the specifics of your alleged credit card debt. Moving forward, please consult a Bankruptcy attorney to determine the proper course of action.
