You will definitely be able to apply to law school and any other type of institution if you file or have filed for bankruptcy. The application process tests your ability to be honest and to disclose your life history that may impact on your ability to become an attorney. However, most people who fail this process do so because their inability to disclose the information rather than the substance of the information itself.
Your application goes to your ability to be ethical and honest in your chosen career and with your clients. While a bankruptcy may hold you back from receiving certain types of financial aid, it should not impact your actual application in a very negative manner.
